Running Clinic North London
Are you looking to take your running to next level? Would you like to make the act of running feel more natural and economical?
Magazines and Internet sites are full of new miracle training schedules or products that supposedly improve the way you run. However they all follow a one-size fits all approach. How can you be sure these methods are appropriate to you? Self-help manuals are all well and good, but practical and expert guidance dealing with your specific needs is much more preferable.
The Running Clinic offers a new way of thinking, taking a more complete approach to your running development. We create a plan that’s individual, practical and specifically focused on you.
Starting with a detailed look at your current status, we will establish a progressive plan to improve your running experience. This does not just involve looking at how you train but also how you run, paying special attention to how your body moves.
Running technique can make a huge difference to your running performance, with weakness or inefficiencies preventing progress and often leading to injury. Efficiency of movement is key, with efficient movement patterns leading to huge gains in endurance and speed. Simple adaptions to your style will enable you to run quicker, longer and easier with fewer aches and pains! Through a detailed biomechanical analysis we monitor the way your body moves from your head down to your feet. This will enable us to highlight any areas that could affect your propensity to develop injury, or lead to inefficiencies in your running style that affect your performance.
Using video footage we provide simple and practical adjustments that will revolutionise the way you run. Looking at all this information we provide a progressive training plan, offering specific training ideas and advice on footwear, and will introduce you to some practical drills and appropriate exercises to improve technique. Whether you’re simply looking to improve your running fitness or gunning for a Marathon personal best, we can help you.
